Ali Landry Monteverde

Ali Landry is an American actress, model, and beauty pageant contestant who received the title of Miss America in 1996. Following her viewing of the 1970 film "Love Story", her mother named Ali after Ali MacGraw. The actress is French (Cajun), Cajun roots, and was born in Cecilia Louisiana where she went to Cecilia High School. She was the head of the cheerleading team at the time of her graduation and was crowned 'Miss Louisiana Teen America' when she was of seventeen. In 1996, she was declared Miss Louisiana USA. Her fame was boosted after winning 'Miss USA. In 1997 she made her first appearance as an actress in the TV show "Clueless". The year 1998 saw her gain fame as the "Doritos Girl" when she appeared in the Super Bowl commercial for 'Doritos. Her debut film was the movie "Beautiful" 2000. Her appearances have been in a variety of films and television series over time. Additionally, she was featured in several 'most desired women' lists.
