Rebecca Romijn is an American actress and former model well-known for portraying the character of 'Mystique' in the initial three-part episode of the American Marvel superhero series 'X-Men'. Romijn was Joan in a Marvel movie about superheroes titled 'The Punisher. Romijn began her modeling career at the age of sixteen. Her modeling career has taken off since then. She's posed for major companies including Christian Dior Sports Illustrated and Victoria's Secret. She spent a decade modeling for major fashion houses, but then resigned from that area of work to focus on her acting profession. Romijn had more success on television than she had been at Hollywood.
