Lucy Lawless, a New Zealander, is a singer and actress who is well known within the entertainment industry. Her most memorable performances include Xena Warrior Princess and Spartacus Blood and Sand. Of all the roles she played as an actor She was highly acclaimed and remembered for her amazing portrayal of the character Xena. Lucy played the part that was meant to go for Vanessa Angel. However, she was unable to attend production due to ill health. It was such a hit in that Lucy's portrayal of Xena led to a spin-off show that was released in September of 1995. Lucy is now a renowned actor due to the popularity of the spinoff. Lucy is not just popular as Xena but as well for her regular role in the role of Diane Lewis Swanson on NBCs famous show Parks and Recreation which she was a part of from 2012 to 2015.
